RISE FUN-raiser June 20th 2023!

Join in for the 2023 RISE Fun-raising event! The event will take place at Superior Training on June, 20th 2023. The event will consist of change wars beginning one week in advance, all team relay with coach representative, and FAMILY fun whacky relays, followed by an all team cookout in the Superior Training parking lot! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS! 

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE?

Check your email for an event sign up form. Commit YES! by Monday, June 5th! After the event commitment date closes, the coaching staff will randomly assign athletes to a coaches relay team that will be emailed out to the families by Wednesday, June 7th.

ALL TEAM RELAY

Once the coaching staff receives the final count of athletes who will participate, the team will be randomly divided into even teams with a Coach Representative. The all team relay will be a 2,000 yard race with each swimmer racing a 50 freestyle at a time until the total yardage is completed. Each team's Coach Representative will be swimming with their team! 

CHANGE WARS

After relay teams are announced, CHANGE WARS will begin! Starting Monday, June 12th, Each coach will have a jug designated for their team located in the lobby of Superior Training that will be available during practice times. The team with the least amount of money in their jug by the start of the event WINS! So bring coins and dollars to SABOTAGE the other teams. The losing Coach will spend the team cookout in a dunk tank!! Additionally, the winning team will get a :05 second handicap per order of finish for the start of the all team relay! 

WHACKY RELAYS

Immediately following the end of the All Team Relay, WHACKY RELAYS will begin. Whacky relays are eligible for all members of the RISE community to participate. Parents, siblings, friends, family, etc. Each event will be $5 per swimmer. The RISE Coaching staff will form competitive teams after all entries are received. We will bullpen each event to guarantee the event runs smoothly. All families are responsible for their own costumes, decorations, and props unless specifically noted. All entries for the Whacky Relays will close Friday, June 16th. Total amounts will be billed to RISE team account or can be made payable by check up until the start of the event. ALL TEAM COOKOUT!

By popular demand, the RISE All team cookout is back! All team cookout begins Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30pm. Families do not have to participate in the relay Fun-raiser to attend the cookout. It takes a village to feed the swimmers, so please consider donating to make this meal a success! Sign up for items on the sign up genius link below. Food can be dropped of Monday, June 19th, and Tuesday, June 20th. Parents and families welcome.

RAFFLE TICKETS

Buy raffle tickers here! The RISE Coaching staff will be raffling off experiences you can participate in during the All Team Cookout. Raffle tickets will be how athletes and families will enter to win different items, as well as participating in a dunk tank throw, and golf pitch. Most items will be valued at one $5 ticket. There will be one (or more!) grand raffle items that will require a $10 ticket to enter. Tickets will be available to purchase day of with cash or check, but we encourage all families to pre-order tickets! Families will be able to pick up Monday, June 19th and Tuesday, June 20th.
